Keenedge Precision Tools

Endmills

Keenedge Precision Tools has been manufacturing Carbide Endmills for 6 years. During this time Keenedge has continually developed and refined its tools to become a market force within New Zealand and now Australasia. Our tools are manufactured on a 7-axis CNC grinder capable of producing our products to very exacting specification and close tolerance.

Keenedge manufactures SOLID CARBIDE END MILLS and ROUTERS to the metal, aluminium, plastic, paper and timber industries. They are made from MICRO-GRAIN SOLID CARBIDE and designed for extended tool life. Further information on the carbide is contained in section 9.

All tools are designed using 3D simulation to ensure tool geometry and precision is achieved 99% of the time. The Company’s quality procedures ensure that all tools are subject to a final check by an independent quality controller before being signed off for dispatch.

The simulation software enables our toolmaker’s to be able to create and inspect tools before actually producing the finished product. This not only reduces waste but also keeps the set up costs down allowing for a cost-effective end product.
